An excellent place to have a meal! We've visited Hong Ning many times and have always had an amazing experience. The staff is friendly & prompt, and the food is quality & fresh. We especially love ❀️ the garlic rice, chicken skewers, fried calamari, chicken adobo, pancit and of course the lumpia (mini egg rolls). This place is great!

The food was just wonderful. I visited the Chicago area from San Diego and was craving some Filipino food. I loved the crispy Pata, it was so delicious, juicy, crispy, and flavorful. The adobo, was extremely scrumptious and reminded me of the food in Manila. My wife is Filipina, and loved it as well. Will definitely return in the near future.

What a lovely little gem! Portions are huge, we ordered two entries and an app and brought a ton home for leftovers. Staff was friendly, helpful. Service was FAST. Would definitely go back!

Hi Thank you for reading. 4/11/26. Saturday. We went to this place and ordered Lenten Special Platter. $59.95 Advertised by the Ladies room. I said, alright. Since, I can’t consume any meat. I will try. Everything else was great. All except the Calamari was fake( processed and rubbery.) in taste. I’ve eaten thousands of Calamari and this was grossly not proper. It’s mixed with textured processed with different seafood or perhaps even its. Pig (swine) rectal. I tried addressing it to our waitress and said, we can change it. She offered to replaced it with Fried. I’m thinking it’s probably better. However, it’s the same Fake Calamari. We did stay long enough. To taste it. We were full from other food. Got home and still the same Calamari. I completely understand that they have to cut cost due to our current economy situation. But This has to be addressed. I will call the manager later. And keep you posted. We spent $115 plus $20 tip to our server. Grace she’s nice.

Grew up near Cubao, QC where they had a Hong Ning restaurant. They eventually left the area and heard they (or the family) moved to the NW Chicago suburbs. While not quite the same, the food here is quite decent. The pork bbq is very much Filipino style, so highly recommend that. The fresh lumpia when available is a must order. Service was quick and friendly. And we were always able to find a table available immediately. Ample parking.
